HOOK

Hook is a student produced magazine covering topics that matter to PHS. The entire publication is written, edited, and designed by student journalists. It highlights student achievement as well as broader issues that matter beyond the walls of the school. Our mission is to get students interested in the world around them and to give them a forum to spread awareness and enact change.

In its third year, Horizon Elementary 5th graders have an exciting project in the works with their school publication, Hook Jr, inspired by Pewaukee High School's publication, Hook.

Mrs. Reuter and Mrs. Rooney have put together a journalism team of about forty 5th graders who are ready to cover all the happenings in their building. Staffers have the opportunity to collaborate with high school mentors from PHS Insight's JAMS class while they plan, draft, publish and go public with their submissions.
