Are you wondering what to give your family, friends, or other important people to show how much you care and want to show gratitude during the winter holidays? This article will teach you how to make a super fun, cute, easy, and caring craft sock snowman.
You will need the following supplies:
Big White Sock
Bag of rice
Baby sock
Pipe cleaners
Googly eyes
Sheet of felt ( or paper but felt preferred)
Hot glue
Two hair ties or rubber bands
Three buttons
Scissors
Pom-pom
When making a cute little snowman, buddy, ensure you have adult supervision. First, you have to get your big white sock. Then you get your bag of rice and fill the large sock with a little over half of the rice!
Next, take your hair tie or rubber band and place it very tightly on top of your rice. Next, pour the rice almost to the tippy top and close it up with your second hair tie or rubber band! You should have a little bit of sock left at the top. Next is the part where you get to customize it your way!
Now, you will take your baby sock, cut off the bottom to shorten it, and place it on the head. For extra hold, tie the hat on the head with a string or another rubber band.
Next, you will take one of your pipe cleaners and tie it around your snowman's neck. Then, you will shape the pipe cleaners to form the arms.
After making the arms, you will take the piece of felt or paper and draw four mittens on the felt or paper. Next, cut the mittens out.
Then, you will grab your pipe cleaners and your hot glue. Then you take your pipe cleaners and hot glue them onto the snowman's base. Next, you will take your mittens and hot glue them to the arms ( pipe cleaners).
One of the last steps is to take a strip of felt and tie it around the snowman’s neck so it looks like a scarf.
In the last and final step, you will glue the googly eyes to the front of your snowman's head. Add your small pom-pom into the middle for a nose. Add any other accessories and attach them how you want to your snowman. There you have it! Now you have a super cute snowman to make somebody’s day special!
