United States Colony Project

In social studies, we created a colony based on our background knowledge of the early colonies of Roanoke, Jamestown, and Plymouth. We created a name for our colony, a flag that represented our group, our motivation for coming to the New World and starting a new colony, our responsibilities, ways to get food and water for our colony, and our form of government.  In our colony, we have a lookout man, two bunkhouses, a church, a hospital, a trading post, a crab trap, a fisherman hut, a fishing boat with fish, a miner, an oxen, and to top it all off,  our colony flag!
